Hi! I have been involved in the BC Mission Boat Society in various ways over the past fourteen years. I grew up in Edmonton, Alberta, and since I was a teen, I had a passion for missions and sharing God's love with others. My first opportunity to go on a mission trip was during my first year at Concordia University of Edmonton, and I travelled up to Klemtu, BC. Through the years, I have worked as a summer student, an Outreach Worker, and then served on the Board of Directors when I went into teaching. I look forward to serving as the Executive Director and I'm truly excited to see that God has in store for the BC Mission Boat Society! In my free time, I love spending time with friends and family, reading a good book, painting, or playing board games and card games.
It’s such a blessing to be welcomed on board as Ministry Director with the BC Mission Boat Society. My hope and prayer is to be a blessing to remote communities in BC and a strong and devoted worker who does all things “as unto the Lord”. My service to Him during the past 20 years has been in the area of human services, specifically serving adults with developmental disabilities and seniors in the capacity of support worker, manager and as an entrepreneur who started WellSpring Home and Community Services, a business whose mission is to bridge gaps and help seniors remain independent in their homes as they age. I look forward to working with Rhonda and the board to continue growing and realizing the heart and vision of the BC Mission Boat Society.
