Epiphany Appeal
Today, we are reaching out to you with a special appeal for an extraordinary new initiative. This coming February, we are organizing our first-ever women’s retreat, “From Mourning to Joy”, an event dedicated to building up faith and fostering healing, hope, and renewal. This retreat will bring together women from the First Nations communities we serve, to share their sorrows and joys, support one another in love, and be uplifted through God’s Word. It is our prayer that this event will be a time of deep connection, healing, and spiritual growth for all who attend.
“Love the Lord your God, with all your heart, with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the first and greatest commandments and the second is like it: Love your neighbour as yourself.” Matthew 22:37-39
Impact of Your Gift
In a world that often isolates and divides, the power of coming together in faith cannot be overstated. The purpose of this retreat is to assist women from different First Nations communities gather together to connect through worship, prayer, bible study and fellowship. With your help these women will have the opportunity to experience God’s love and His profound grace during this retreat, which is the first of its kind for B.C. Mission Boat Society. Our hope is this retreat will plant seeds of faith and create bonds that will bear fruit for generations to come.
Fundraising Goal
To make this retreat a reality, we have a fundraising goal of $20,000. This will help cover transportation, accommodations, meals, materials, and program facilitation for the women attending. We humbly ask you to consider making a special gift to support this initiative. Your donation, whether $50, $100, $500, or any other amount, will help us bring this vision to life. Together, we can make “From Mourning to Joy” a wonderful experience for these women and a testament to the power of God’s love.
