Team Volunteers

Team Member Role

  • Abide by the mission statement and goals of the mission.
  • Be in God’s Word and prayer daily.
  • Serve the community and other team members.
  • Work with your team in planning kids’ club, crafts, music, evening activities, service.
  • Participate in pre trip training and post trip debriefing

What To Expect As A Team Member

During the trip Teams will conduct the following activities for the First Nations communities

  • Kids’ Club
  • Ladies night
  • Men’s night
  • Family games night
  • Community dinner

As a team member you will experience the following.

  • Living in close quarters together with team members
  • Daily debriefing
  • Sharing meal prep and planning
  • Daily devotion/daily prayer

Behind The Scenes Volunteers

  • Mail Outs
    Gathering to assist with newsletter assembly, envelope stuffing and postage.
  • Quilt Requests
    Communities request quilts for babies as well as lap quilts for seniors. Individuals or groups can provide these quilts.
  • Kids’ Club Kits
    Assemble craft kits for Kids’ Club and packages sent to communities.
  • Faith Encouragement Gifts
    Making pocket crosses or providing other gifts to encourage faith.
  • Donating Portals of Prayers Books
