Ways I can help

• Come with us as a crew member or land based team member for a week or longer.
  
  
• Make a tax-deductible donation to assist with operating costs or sponsor a specific cost such as Bibles, food or fuel. CLICK HERE TO DONATE!
  
  
• Pray for all those in this mission field, for those who are touched by it, those who are moved to support this ministry and for the continued safety of all who are involved.
  
  
• Add the B.C. Mission Boat to your "prayer list" for specific needs the ministry has, for leaders, crew, funding, supplies, etc.
  
  
• You can send an adult or youth team from your church to be part of a Land Based or Boat Based Mission Team. We are always looking for congregations to "adopt" a community to provide an ongoing relationship.
  
  
• With over 700 children being visited through the mission boat and involved in 18 Christian Children's Camps each summer, there is opportunity for people to help provide craft materials. You are invited to consider our "Sponsor a Craft" program or to send donations for individual craft items. If you are going to sponsor a craft, please contact us to discuss the craft and supplies needed. All craft supplies should be at our Parksville office not later than June 1st.
  
  
• Christian resources are often scarce in the isolated communities that the Mission Boat visits. There is a need for adult and children's Bibles. Adult and children's Christian books, magazines, videos, and music are also needed for a small library on board and for distribution. Over 250 Bibles are distributed each year. You can earmark a donation for this purpose.
  
  
• Contribute to a youth scholarship to help bring a youth on board or towards covering the operating costs for a youth. Offer ideas or suggestions in which the Mission Boat could further serve to show and share the love of Jesus Christ, by a a ship based and land team mission, to remote British Columbian coastal communities.
  
  
• Become a Society Member (please click on link to access Membership Applicaton Form)
  
  
• Please contact us if you live on Vancouver Island and can help locally in mission preparation activities or welcoming of visiting crew and team members.
  
  
• Please prayerfully consider making the B.C. Mission Boat Society a project to support for you, your congregation, Sunday School, youth or other group
